B.o.B Slates Debut Album; Hip-Hop Virtuoso Heralds Long-Awaited Collection as Special Guest on Lupe Fiasco’s “Steppin Laser Tour”; Dates Kicked Off Friday, March 5th in Claremont, CA; New Single, “Nothin’ On You (Feat. Bruno Mars),” Earns Critical Acclaim and Instant Chart Success; “B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray” Arrives in Stores and Online on April 27th

NEW YORK, New York –(Marketwire) – Rebel Rock Entertainment/Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist B.o.B has announced details of his hugely anticipated debut album. “B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray” — which includes the hit single, “Nothin’ On You (Feat. Bruno Mars)” — arrives in stores and at all online retailers on April 27th.

“Nothin’ On You” is shaping up to be a breakout hit for the ATL-based rapper/musician/producer, earning both immediate acclaim and popular success. The track has ascended to the top 10 on Billboard’s “Rhythmic Airplay” chart — the fastest rising debut track since Drake’s 2009 smash, “Best I Ever Had” — while also reaching #16 on Billboard’s “Hot 100″ with 257,097 units sold to date. What’s more, Billboard praised “Nothin’ On You” for its “feel-good singalong hook,” noting that the single “provides a solid launching pad for this promising talent.”

Having spent much of last year sharing stages with such like-minded artists as Asher Roth, Kid Cudi, and Shwayze, B.o.B will herald the release of “B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray” with a full-scale US tour. The dates — supporting 1st & 15th /Atlantic labelmate Lupe Fiasco’s “Steppin Laser Tour” — began Friday, March 5th at Claremont, California’s Bridges Auditorium and continues through early May (see itinerary below).

One of hip-hop’s most inventive and exciting young artists, B.o.B has quickly drawn a bounty of rapturous critical applause. In its 2010 “Faces To Watch” feature, Billboard celebrated the rapper’s “versatility,” declaring that he “recalls both OutKast’s Big Boi and crooner Raheem DeVaughn and may be the first rapper to play the guitar well.” XXL — which named B.o.B among its “10 Freshmen of 2009″ — called him “ready for stardom,” while John Ivey, program director at Los Angeles’ influential KIIS-FM, told Entertainment Weekly that the multi-talented MC is his pick for “next big thing,” explaining that “a lot of hip-hop guys are just rappers, but (B.o.B) plays guitar and just kills it.” Smooth celebrated B.o.B’s “virtuosic talent” and “lyrical directness,” while Ozone called him “one of the most anticipated newcomers in the game.” Nylon hailed B.o.B as a leading figure of “a new generation of hip-hop upstarts” and the Wall Street Journal concurred, praising the MC for “testing the genre’s conventions.” Additional profiles have appeared in such publications as Complex and Paste, which included B.o.B in its “The Best of What’s Next ‘09″ round-up.

“B.o.B Presents: The Adventures Of Bobby Ray” sees the resourceful rapper producing the majority of the album by himself, while also playing multiple musical instruments, including piano, trumpet and French horn. In addition, tracks such as “5th Dimension” and “Friday Night Star” offer a funky and fascinating journey into a gifted new talent’s far-reaching imagination.

“I just want to show people that there are endless possibilities of what you can do,” B.o.B says. “You don’t just have to be a rapper, you don’t just have to be a trapper; you can be anything you want to be and whatever you do, just love it and it will show.”

Born Bobby Ray Simmons, B.o.B is already a significant force in Southern hip-hop, having captured underground interest with a variety of mixtapes and his smokers anthem, “Cloud 9.” In 2006, while he was still attending high school, the accomplished musician and producer came to the attention of renowned producer/songwriter Jim Jonsin (Lil’ Wayne, Pretty Ricky, Twista, Danity Kane, Trick Daddy), who promptly signed the young MC to his Rebel Rock Entertainment label.

B.o.B scored a breakthrough hit in 2008 with the smash single/video, “Haterz Everywhere,” which was an MTV “Jam of the Week” as well as a top 10 hit on the network’s Sucker Free Countdown. A number of blockbuster mixtapes followed, including 2009’s celebrated “B.o.B VS. BOBBY RAY.” As if all that weren’t enough, the much-admired rapper teamed up with Reebok on a unique reinterpretation of A Tribe Called Quest’s classic “Bonita Applebum” in celebration of the Reebok Classic Remix collection.

A wide range of media attention greeted B.o.B’s arrival on the hip-hop scene, with features and reviews appearing in such national publications and online outlets as The Source, Complex, Spin, URB, XXL, Fader, Rolling Stone, and Murderdog. Vibe recently hailed his leading role in the emerging ATL sound, noting that “a musical renaissance has begun to take shape, and locals like B.o.B are putting a new movement in motion.”

B.o.B. also established a major presence online, having now logged over 21 million total plays at his official MySpace page, www.myspace.com/bobatl. In addition, his official website, www.bobatl.com includes tons of exclusive tracks, videos and user-generated features.

Known far and wide as the frontman of alternative hip-hop superstars Gym Class Heroes, McCoy’s solo debut sees him teaming up with a diverse array of studio superstars for a genre-busting, groundbreaking new collection. Among the contributing producers, writers, and artists are T-Pain, Bruno Mars and the Smeezingtons (B.o.B, Cobra Starship, Flo Rida), Detail (Akon, Lady Gaga), The Stereotypes (Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige), Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Adam Lambert, Beyonce), and Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver, 30 Seconds To Mars) & Oligee (Flo Rida, Leighton Meester).

“LAZARUS” is heralded by the first single, “Billionaire” (featuring Bruno Mars), which debuts today at MTV.com. A companion video is currently in pre-production, with a premiere date to be announced shortly. The digital single for “Billionaire” (featuring Bruno Mars) will be available for purchase at all online retailers starting tomorrow, March 9.

McCoy is currently poised for his first-ever solo tour, joining Photo Finish recording duo 3OH!3 and Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen labelmates Cobra Starship on the hugely anticipated “Too Fast For Love” tour, presented by MTV. The trek will take off at Milwaukee’s Eagles Ballroom on April 28th and then travel North America through mid-June (see itinerary below). Kicking off all dates will be Photo Finish/Atlantic’s own I Fight Dragons.

A select number of the “Too Fast For Love” dates will be part of the second annual “mtvU Movies & Music Festival,” a groundbreaking new tour which features the hottest performers and most buzzed-about movies leading up to June’s 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Furthermore, McCoy — along with 3OH!3 and Cobra Starship — will be among the star-studded lineup featured at the upcoming Bamboozle Chicago, slated to rock the Windy City on Saturday, May 15th.

As if all that weren’t enough, McCoy will hit the annual South By Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas for a handful of special appearances, including a performance at The Dirty Dog on Friday, March 19th as part of the Crush Management showcase, whose lineup includes Hole, Patrick Stump and others. McCoy is also scheduled for a late-night DJ set at Taco Bell’s PureVolume house on Thursday, March 18th, beginning at 1 AM.

McCoy achieved international stardom in 2006 with Gym Class Heroes’ RIAA gold certified “AS CRUEL AS SCHOOL CHILDREN,” which featured the multi-format #1 hit, “Cupid’s Chokehold/Breakfast In America.” The following year saw them named both “Best Group” and Best New Artist” at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. “THE QUILT,” released in 2008, earned critical praise for its unique collaborations with such diverse stars as Busta Rhymes, Estelle, The-Dream, and Daryl Hall. McCoy and Gym Class Heroes are currently writing a new album, due out next year.

Moreover, McCoy recently took a break from his busy recording schedule to visit India, South Africa, and the Philippines as the official ambassador of MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation, an international mass media campaign working to prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS.

LOVE IS STRANGE, A 2-CD LIVE SET FEATURING BROWNE AND LINDLEY, IS SET FOR RELEASE MAY 11

LOS ANGELES, California /PRNewswire/ — Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne will take to the road this summer with his band and longtime friend and musical co-conspirator David Lindley. Comprising dates in the U.S. and Europe, the Jackson Browne with David Lindley Tour follows the May 11 release of Love Is Strange (Inside Recordings), a 2-CD live set capturing a tour of Spain that Browne and Lindley did in 2006.

The Jackson Browne with David Lindley Tour begins with a month-long European leg kicking off in Bristol, UK on June 3. Other highlights include shows at the Stadpark in Hamburg, Germany (6/15), Casino de Paris in Paris, France (6/18), and Hampton Court Palace and Royal Albert Hall in London (6/8 and 6/29, respectively). More European dates will be announced shortly.

Stateside, the Jackson Browne with David Lindley Tour gets underway July 20 at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. U.S. summer dates run through the end of September; the first U.S. leg concludes at Chastain Park Amphitheater in Atlanta on August 15. Highlights along the way include the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles (7/23), the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA (7/24), Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO (8/5), and the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX (8/13).

Accompanying Jackson Browne and David Lindley on tour will be Browne’s band of almost 20 years: Kevin McCormick (bass), Mark Goldenberg (guitars), Mauricio Lewak (drums) and Jeff Young (keyboards, backing vocals). They’re joined by members (since 2008) Chavonne Stewart and Alethea Mills, vocalists Browne (as a mentor) met in 2001 when they were attending Washington Preparatory High School in South Los Angeles, singing in the school choir.

On record and in performance, Jackson Browne and David Lindley have a musical association reaching back almost 40 years. Regarded as a legendary stringed-instrument virtuoso, Lindley has played on many of Browne’s albums, beginning with 1973’s For Everyman, and on classics including Late For The Sky and The Pretender (the latter two both on Rolling Stone’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time). Browne also produced Lindley’s best-known LP, 1983’s acclaimed El Rayo-X.

Prior to 2010’s Jackson Browne with David Lindley Tour, the last time the two musicians played live dates together was a 2006 run of concerts in Spain—in grand concert halls, rock venues, and intimate clubs alike. That tour resulted in the forthcoming 2-CD album Love Is Strange, “En Vivo Con Tino”— featuring Browne and Lindley live with celebrated Spanish percussionist Tino di Geraldo. Set for worldwide release May 11 on Browne’s independent label Inside Recordings, Love Is Strange was produced by Jackson Browne and Paul Dieter. In liner notes Browne wrote for Love Is Strange, he considers Lindley’s reputation for elusiveness nearly as mythic as his string-playing prowess. “Why had I not thought of this before? Take him where he doesn’t speak the language and he will HAVE TO leave the gig and come with you to the restaurant, or to the club,” says Browne. “This was an unexpected strategy breakthrough in a pursuit that for a legion of friends, disciples and admirers has become known as ’stalking the wild Lindley.’”

The breakthrough continues with the not-to-be-missed 2010 Jackson Browne with David Lindley Tour.

NEW YORK, New York March 1 /PRNewswire/ — Superstar and cultural icon Beyonce, ended her 2009 “I AM…” World Tour with a sensational live concert in the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad on February 18, 2010. The “I AM…” World Tour launched in Edmondton, Canada on March 29, 2009 and spanned across Europe including stops in Austria, Spain and The United Kingdom.

Beyonce’s first of four sold-out shows at London’s 20,000-seat O2 Arena, Europe’s largest in-door concert venue, inspired the Telegraph.co.uk to headline its review: “Beyonce Knowles raised the bar for what can be done in an arena show at the O2.”

The North American leg of the “I AM…” World Tour kicked off in New York’s famed Madison Square Garden on June 21, 2009 and came to a close with a sold-out four-night residency at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas on August 2. During this stint, the powerhouse filmed her “I AM…YOURS An Intimate Performance At Wynn Las Vegas” DVD, which later went on to become the number one music DVD in the country. The ABC Television Network aired an edited version of the DVD as a Thanksgiving Night one-hour special.

During the North American leg of the “I AM…” World Tour, Beyonce co-sponsored food drives as part of a Show Your Helping Hand™ initiative, a national hunger relief campaign created by General Mills’ Hamburger Helper® in partnership with Beyonce and her Survivor Foundation. The campaign goal was to help Feeding America deliver more than 3.5 million meals to local food banks.

Upon the completion of several tour dates in Australia, Beyonce was honored with the coveted Billboard Woman of The Year Award at a ceremony held in New York City on October 2, 2009. The “I AM…” World Tour continued with shows in Japan and additional dates in The United Kingdom, including two sold-out shows in Ireland at Dublin’s O2 Arena, before concluding in South America and the Caribbean. The “I AM…” World Tour which critics have called “spectacular” and “dazzling” was also named the world’s #1 concert attraction by Billboard Magazine’s Hot Tour rankings.

Last month, Beyonce broke the record for most Grammy® wins by a female artist in a single year taking home six awards, including “Song of the Year” (for “Single Ladies”). The wins brought her career Grammy® total up to 16 (13 as a solo artist and 3 with Destiny’s Child.)

According to The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), Beyonce is the artist with the most total certifications over the past decade, with a total of 64. The certifications include cumulative album, digital song, master ringtone, and music video certifications. Beyonce also has the most master ringtone certifications for a female solo artist with 19 and the highest certified master ringtone for a female artist with “Irreplaceable” at 3x multi-Platinum. She received her very first Gold album award for her Grammy® Award winning debut solo album, “Dangerously in Love” on July 29, 2003. “Dangerously in Love” is currently 4x multi-Platinum.

What the critics had to say:

“Beyonce has a breathtaking need to entertain.” – Ben Ratliff of The New York Times

“In a dazzling, flawless performance…Beyonce Knowles captivated a massive and enthusiastic crowd with her music, her moves, her humility and her humanity.” – Peter Taylor, Trinidad & Tobago Express

“Beyonce twisted all the theatrics into her musical performance flawlessly, demonstrating her many talents as an artist.” – Chantal Eustace, Vancouver Sun

The Sweden Rock Festival is the band’s first European date and they cannot wait to uncork the tour in Solvesborg on June 10th.

Aerosmith, and their shared passion and commitment to continue to rock the world, will play ten other European shows including what is set to be a phenomenal and unforgettable return to the main stage at Donington Park for the first time in 16 years, where they join Download Festival co-headliners Rage Against The Machine and AC/DC on June 13th.

The opening act on the “Angels Cry” Tour is RydazNrtist, a new R&B group signed to Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment. (Since mid-January, the tour has played through MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT; Fox Theatre in Atlanta; Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, FL; and Fox Theatre in Detroit. Please see remaining tour dates below.)

ANGELS ADVOCATE (and Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel) follow up Mariah’s multi-platinum E=MC(2) (2008), and worldwide 10 million selling The Emancipation Of Mimi (2005). The Emancipation Of Mimi generated three Grammy awards (including Best Contemporary R&B Album), two #1 singles, and countless more honors during its 18-month chart stay. Soundscan’s biggest-selling album of 2005, Mimi featured “We Belong Together” (Grammy winner for Best Female R&B Vocal and Best R&B Song) and “Don’t Forget About Us,” Mariah’s 16th and 17th #1 career singles respectively. They tied one of the most enduring chart records in Billboard Hot 100 history, Elvis Presley’s 17 #1’s.

Three years later, Mariah surpassed Elvis when “Touch My Body” (from E=MC(2)) became her 18th #1 Hot 100 hit. “Touch My Body” spent two weeks at the top, Mariah’s 78th and 79th cumulative career weeks at #1, which tied Elvis’ long-standing all-time high of 79 weeks at #1, as calculated by Billboard. Mariah is now positioned as the only active recording artist in the 50 years of the Hot 100 (which began in 1958) with the potential to surpass the Beatles’ all-time high of 20 #1 hits. The success of E=MC(2) brought total sales of Mariah’s albums, singles and videos to more than 175 million worldwide, distancing her even further from the pack as the top-selling female recording artist in history.

LOS ANGELES, California Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — In the midst of his first college tour, promoting his latest #1 album The Blueprint 3 and his recently released video game sensation “DJ Hero: Renegade Edition,” the unstoppable JAY-Z confirms North American tour dates for 2010’s BP3 tour. The second leg of the Live Nation-produced tour will begin on February 22nd in Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center with more dates to be announced soon. JAY-Z will be joined by Grammy-nominated rapper Young Jeezy who will open all dates on the tour. Check for tickets here.

JAY-Z’s BP3 North American tour will make a cross-country trek in 2010 stopping at arenas in major markets including Houston, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Greensboro, Washington, Boston, Pittsburgh, St Louis, Indianapolis, Denver, San Jose, Los Angeles and more. Additional day of show and on sale information will be announced shortly for stops in East Rutherford, Uniondale, Atlantic City and Detroit.

“Jay-Z is the greatest rapper alive. Anyone who was in attendance at his sold-out KeyArena concert Saturday night can attest to that fact. Hova, Young Hov, Jigga, Hovito, whatever you call him Shawn Carter is on top of the rap game and there were no signs of him stepping down any time soon during his career-spanning two-hour show.”

Seattle Post Intelligencer (KeyArena Review), October 19, 2009

“In a performance that had the feel of a stadium show, thanks to the scope of the production and the magnitude of the star on stage, Jay-Z did something remarkable during his encore Friday night. Even more remarkable than the tight, full-band renditions of stunners like ‘Big Pimpin’ and ‘D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune)’ and more attention-getting than his flashy New York City skyline backdrop. He made individual members of the audience feel that they were as important as him, an entertainer with 11 No. 1 albums and an entrepreneur reportedly worth $150 million.” The Wilkes-Barre Times Leader (Penn State Review), October 14, 2009

The current North American tour, a mix of 26 colleges and arenas, has featured sold out dates including Pennsylvania State’s Bryce Center, UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion, Northern Kentucky University’s Bank of Kentucky, Eastern Michigan University’s Convocation Center, and the University of Massachusetts’ Mullins Center as well as, the KeyArena in Seattle, Kelowna British Columbia’s Prospera Place, Philadelphia’s Wachovia Center, Providence’s Dunkin’ Donuts Center and Baltimore’s 1st Mariner Arena.
