LOS ANGELES, March 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Multi-platinum rock powerhouse Nickelback have announced dates for their North American summer tour, in support of their latest album, Dark Horse, on the heels of their opening night sellout of Nashville’s Sommet Center last week. The summer leg of the 2009 tour rolls through Live Nation outdoor amphitheaters beginning July 10 in Darien Lake, New York at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, with Hinder, Papa Roach and Saving Abel in support.

The latest single from the band’s 2008 platinum release Dark Horse, “If Today Was Your Last Day” will be impacting on March 24th at all formats. The brazen rocker “Something In Your Mouth” is currently the #1 rock song in the country.

Nickelback are a phenomenally successful touring band whose tours have grossed in excess of $100 million thus far and have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. Dark Horse is Nickelback’s first release since the immensely popular All The Right Reasons, released in 2005.
