The Virgins Announce Spring Headlining Tour in Support of Their New Single, “One Week Of Danger”; Itinerary Kicks Off May 11th in Denver With Support From Lissy Trullie

NEW YORK, NEW YORK–(Marketwire) – Atlantic recording group The Virgins has announced details for their upcoming North American headlining tour this Spring. The New York City-based band will be joined once again by Lissy Trullie.

The Virgins — recently named one of NME’s “New Bands for 2009″ as well as a “Band To Watch” by MTV UK — will kick off the tour in Denver, CO on May 11th at the Bluebird Theatre (see attached itinerary).

The Virgins’ new single, “One Week Of Danger,” made its late night television debut this past week on NBC’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.” The song has been added into rotation at several radio stations in its first week, including KNDD in Seattle, KWOD in Sacramento, WWCD in Columbus, and KNRK in Portland, where it is already receiving top 5 phones. The video for “One Week Of Danger” will premiere on AOL Music March 19th.
