This tour is a continuation of Rascal Flatts "Bob That Head Tour" which began earlier this year with the addition of opening act Jessica Simpson. One of the most successful touring bands Rascal Flatts’s shows are heavy on special effects, including videos, pyrotechnics and laser lights.
“There is nothing more we love about music than performing across America on tour for our fans,” says Gary LeVox, leader singer of Rascal Flatts.
Since its inception, Rascal Flatts has been composed of three members: Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, vocals). Rascal Flatts released their first Greatest Hits CD, Greatest Hits Volume 1 on October 28, 2008. The album contains 13 of their biggest songs, starting with "Prayin’ for Daylight" and going all the way through "Life Is a Highway". The limited edition of the album contains a second disc with three Christmas songs: "White Christmas","Jingle Bell Rock", and "I’ll Be Home for Christmas".
Jessica’s country album, entitled Do You Know, was released on September 9th of this year. The album debuted #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart in both the US and Canada giving Simpson her first #1 album of her career. The albums second single "Remember that" was released to country radio on September 29th. She has achieved seven Billboard Top 40 hits, and has three gold and two multi-platinum RIAA-certified albums.
